I found out about this book through a website that I also love, eatyourbooks.com. It reviews cookbooks every month. I tried a few of the recipes from this book on the eatyourbooks website and was very impressed. There are the usual banana and fruit smoothies, but with garnishes and flavorings that you might not think of on your own. The most original part of the book, though, are the savory breakfast bowls with rice and accompaniments: I've made the ginger and turmeric rice bowl, and the black beans and green rice bowl, both for supper, and they made satisfying small suppers in a bowl. This is going in my cart today.
