Did you grow up in church? Read your bible? This book will fascinate you. Every saint gives background on their life that wasn't covered in the Bible. They also talk about how incredible heaven is and how busy you will be. If you are skeptical, the main message of the book from each saint and from Matthew is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. And not to pursue speaking with saints. That should only come as a reward from Jesus and not your focus.Some of my favorite parts were:Jesus' parents telling about what Jesus was like growing upThe disciples talking about the early churchWhat each saint likes about heavenI do wish Eve would have given more insight about the Garden of Eden and life after the fall. But she said it needed to remain a mystery for now. Enoch admitted he wrote the Book of Enoch and that he is the second end times witness with Elijah. Neither of them would give much revelation about the end times.Matthew has more interviews of saints on YouTube under a playlist titled "Interviews with the Great Cloud of Witnesses." Including James, the brother of Jesus, who answers questions about growing up with the Messiah as your sibling and all the problems that caused.
Here goes, I am going to be honest it mentions a video of the interviews also being done as well as this book. I have not seen the video only read this book. I would have liked something said about what kind of mansions these saints live in what do theirs look like. However, I did appreciate the fact that most everyone that was being interviewed had said, that you must seek out Jesus ask him questions get to know him personally. I have been a born again Christian since I was real young, I am a little older than Matthew and I have always had a hard time hearing Jesus speaks to me. I have been still before the Lord, repented of everything I can think of, I pray in the Spirit, been baptized with water, baptized in Christ, try very hard to put Him first in everything, There is not a day that goes by where I talk to Him, still I do not know His voice. I wish that the preachers would start doing a better job at teaching the body of Christ to learn how to discern the voice of God. How is it that so many whom I talk to tell me they can't hear him either. Matthew you want to be a preacher and that's fantastic, but I bet you, you would be the best preacher the world has ever known if you could get the body of Christ to discern the voice of God. Has there ever been a preacher that asks there congregation if there is any one having a hard time with this? I Haven't. Seems to me that all they want you to do is make sure your saved and then read your bible and that's very good. Highly important to make Jesus our Savior. Some would say that there must be sin in your life that's why you are not hearing. If that were the case then no one would be hearing because will all shave sinned. They say the average person has 3000 thoughts per day, and even some of those thoughts like myself say my goodness where did that come from. Thank that the word says that we can take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus. Anyway the interviews were good and I am glad that they had their struggles and wasn't easy like we have ours.
I love this book!!! God is the God of the living and not the dead! Many Saints are in Heaven who are ready to be heard thru this book. We ourselves should not be shocked about living Saint's speaking. Look at The Transfiguration, it says, "Elijah appeared to them along with Moses and they were talking with Jesus." The Heavens are opening to the last generation: we just need to listen!!! Seek Jesus only and he will open the Heavens. As of this writing Matthew Robert Payne has about 16 books published, but the Lord has shown him he will be doing around 50. Keep looking for more of his books. I suggest reading his first books, part one and part two called; His Redeeming Love. His books are very low priced and at times free so everyone can read them. He is one of my favorite authors!
I love reading books about angels and Jesus, so on my recommendation list here on my kindle fire the cover drew me in. I've had other books by this author like his radical encounters with angels, so I knew this was going to be powerful and a fun read!To here from my favorites Daniel, King David, Joshua, Job, Mary mother of Jesus, was so amazing and to know what they do in Heaven and what it looks like just gave me peace, joy and full of love!Matthew is full of love and fire for Jesus that you feel his power and authority! Plus, his videos on YouTube for the book is fun and you can tell its the real deal! I recommend if you don't like to read give his videos two minutes and you'll see the love of Jesus coming through Matthew and you'll be wanting to have these same experiences.Each answer to the questions can be taken to you as a lesson. Some are emotional because it's as if they know your having a bad day and you put this on or read it you cry, laugh and smile at know God loves you, the saints love you and you are worthy, beautiful, a delight to our king Jesus!
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about God, Heaven and the people there. I was at first skeptical. But I bell be this book was not arranged or manipulated by man. I believe it was allowed, ordained and done at the command of the Father.Decide for yourself. As for me, I was highly blessed. I am excited more than ever to draw more close to Jesus and to know Him more. I would like to meet with the Saints in Heaven and ask them questions but that is His decision. For now, I will pursue Jesus and I am looking forward even more to be with Him in Heaven forever. If you do not know Jesus, I pray you give your heart to Him.God bless.
